Memetia Turkish Data Protection Notice

Version 1.2 · Closed test build · 6 October 2026

This English reading copy explains processing in the Firebase-free closed test build of the Memetia Android app (package com.memetia.app) under Article 10 of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). The Turkish notice is the source text for Turkish statutory terminology. Read the separate Privacy Policy for a broader product overview.

Controller

The controller is Mehmet Demirörs. Memetia Labs is a brand name, not a separate legal entity. Contact: [email protected].

Data, purposes and collection

Adult and child counts in the home profile; products, packages, stock, usage history, shopping lists and app preferences are entered by you or created by your actions and processed electronically on your device. They support product and stock tracking, estimates, shopping lists and local notifications. Memetia Labs does not transfer this content to its server. This build does not automatically collect technical data through Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.

If you choose to send a support request by email or another share app, the note, feedback category, last screen, app and Android versions, device model, theme, time and optional screenshot may reach the support mailbox, along with the sender address and email headers. A product-image request may include the product name and your message. This information is used to answer your request, investigate a defect and improve the closed test. The app does not send it automatically: you initiate and finish the sharing action.

When you open the document pages at memetialabs.com, Cloudflare may electronically process your IP address, the requested page, visit time and technical browser request information to deliver and secure the page. This does not send home, product or shopping records from your device to the site. We do not add advertising or optional visitor analytics to the site.

Legal grounds

On-device functional data is assessed under KVKK Article 5(2)(c), where processing is directly related to providing the service requested by the user. Depending on the request, support correspondence is assessed under Article 5(2)(c) or Article 5(2)(f), the controller's legitimate interest in providing support without overriding fundamental rights and freedoms. Technical requests needed to deliver and secure the website are assessed under Article 5(2)(f), the controller's legitimate interest without overriding fundamental rights and freedoms. You decide whether to include an optional screenshot. This notice does not replace any separate consent or cross-border transfer safeguard that may be required.

Recipients and transfers

Local home, product and shopping records are not sent to Memetia Labs or Firebase. If you send feedback, your chosen share or email provider and the support email provider may process it to deliver and store the message. If you visit the document pages, Cloudflare may process technical request information to deliver and secure them. These providers' infrastructure may be outside Türkiye. You decide which sharing app to use and whether to send the message. Memetia does not sell data to, or transfer data to, an advertising network in this build.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Support email is deleted within 12 months after the request or closed test issue closes, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention and the record is reviewed separately. A request is considered closed if no further action is needed for 30 days after our last reply; messages needing no reply close 30 days after receipt. Cloudflare's service practices also govern the retention of technical website request data. There is no Memetia cloud account to delete. Contact [email protected] to request access to or deletion of support records.

Rights under KVKK Article 11

You may ask whether your personal data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, and learn the recipients. You may request correction of incomplete or incorrect data and deletion or destruction where conditions are met, request notification of those actions to recipients, object to an adverse result produced solely by automated processing, and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Requests

You can write to [email protected] for support, initial contact or rights requests; we review incoming requests even if a formality is missing. For a formal KVKK request sent by ordinary email, the sender address must have been notified to the controller previously and recorded in its system. Other application methods under the applicable communiqué remain available. You can ask for the postal address by emailing support; we do not publish a private home address on this page. Information needed to match the request to you may be requested; do not include unnecessary sensitive information in your first email. Valid requests are answered as soon as possible and no later than 30 days, depending on their nature.

Updates

Processing will be reviewed and this notice updated before adding a new module, data category, SDK, provider or distribution country.
